LIFE

Life is long, filled with sunny days and rainy ones, but if one harbors a deep love, even in desolate times, one can still journey across mountains and seas, quietly waiting for a tree to bloom.

Life is a journey, and along this journey, I strive to feel every detail with my heart, nourishing each moment with love. The beauty of life lies in its diversity and infinite possibilities, and I, with a full heart, wholeheartedly embrace this gift.

I love life because it is so colorful. A ray of sunlight in the morning pours through the curtains and into the room, and that warmth makes me feel the vitality of a new day. The evening breeze brushes against my cheeks, carrying a hint of floral fragrance that captivates me. In life, I have discovered a tranquility connected to nature, and this tranquility brings me endless inspiration.

Gardening is a part of my life. Each plant has its own story, and every leaf and flower carries the marks of time. From planting a seed to it breaking through the soil, and then to blooming and bearing fruit, this process is filled with anticipation and surprises. When I see my plants gradually growing, the sense of fulfillment is indescribable. Gardening has taught me patience and attention to detail, and it has also helped me appreciate every little miracle of life more deeply.

Photography is another way for me to express my love. Through the lens, I can capture the fleeting moments of beauty in life. Whether it’s a ray of light in the morning haze, a drop of dew on a leaf after the rain, or even a smile from a passerby on the street, these moments deeply move me. I enjoy using my camera to record these details because they make life more three-dimensional and real.

Music is the sanctuary of my soul. In the world of music, I can relax my mind and find my own rhythm. Every melody is like a journey in life, sometimes intense, sometimes subdued, but always genuine. Music is not only an auditory pleasure but also a resonance of the spirit, allowing me to feel the rhythm of life.

Every aspect of life that I love fills each day with meaning. They have taught me how to discover beauty, create beauty, and share beauty. I believe it is my love for life that fills my heart with strength and hope. Regardless of what the future holds, I am willing to write my own life story with passion and perseverance, because I know that life itself is an art worth loving.

photographyI love taking photos because I believe it allows me to discover more beauty in life and feel the passage of time. However, I am different from other photography enthusiasts. I prefer capturing moments spent with my friends. I don’t deliberately focus on composition or post-processing. To me, photography is considered an art because it freezes many unforgettable moments. Later, when looking back at these photos, they can bring back memories of those happy times.
musicI enjoy a wide variety of music genres. I like listening to Chinese, English, and occasionally Korean songs. I only pick the songs I truly enjoy, and sometimes, when others sing a tune I’m familiar with, I don’t even know who the artist is or what the song’s name is, but I can remember the lyrics and sing along. When doing chores, I like listening to pop music. While studying, I prefer classical music, and before bed, I often listen to opera. Music has deeply influenced me; depending on the style of music, my mood can change accordingly.
carsI have loved cars since I was a child. In fact, I can say that cars have been my one constant passion throughout my life. When I was younger, I could even identify a car model just by looking at its headlights. However, with so many car models on the market today, it’s become a bit harder for me to guess them. Now, I focus more on studying mechanical structures and gaining a deeper understanding of how cars are built. For example, I explore different types of suspensions—why do we have electromagnetic suspensions or air suspensions? What are their advantages and disadvantages? As a child, I was fascinated by flashy sports cars, but as I grow older, I find myself more interested in executive cars with spacious interiors.
gamesThe games I enjoy are all quite laid-back, and most of them are driving games. The game I’ve spent the most time on is GTA, and sometimes I also play Euro Truck Simulator. However, I often find myself playing factory simulation games like Satisfactory, Little Big Workshop, and Dyson Sphere Program. I always feel a great sense of accomplishment while playing these games. Watching a factory grow from scratch into a thriving operation brings me so much joy.
travelI actually really enjoy traveling and have always dreamed of visiting Iceland. However, due to various reasons, I’ve been unable to get the visa approved, so I’ve adopted a more relaxed attitude about it. I’ve explored almost every corner of the UK, so nowadays I mostly stay at home. When I have more time, I’ll think about traveling to other countries. I tend to prefer natural landscapes, marveling at the wonders of nature. Alternatively, I enjoy visiting automobile museums and science museums in different cities.
technologyI am someone who enjoys staying at the forefront of technology, which is why my home is filled with various tech products from different industries. I often find inspiration for industrial design while using these devices, discovering new ideas through their functionality and design.
radioI want to give special mention to the radio because I’ve noticed that many people no longer listen to it. I really enjoy the radio because, in our daily lives, the music we listen to often becomes monotonous and dull. The radio helps me discover songs I’ve never heard before. It’s different from modern streaming services because you can’t just skip to the next song. This has helped me cultivate a lot of patience and has allowed me to stumble upon many beautiful songs I might have otherwise missed.
sportsI enjoy running, especially long-distance running by the seaside. I love the feeling of the wind blowing against me. Besides running, I’ve dabbled in various sports, but I’m not particularly skilled in any of them. As such, I wouldn’t consider myself someone with a specialty in sports.
volunteerHaving grown up in a system of exam-oriented education, I deeply understand the immense pressure faced by today’s teenagers. Because of this, I hope to be a small guiding light in their lives, showing them that there is so much more to the world beyond academics. I want to encourage them to set meaningful goals and work hard toward achieving them. I have successfully inspired many people, and because of my influence, they have genuinely changed their life paths, moving toward better and more fulfilling objectives.
societyI enjoy working part-time in various restaurants and stores, as it allows me to meet people from different cultures and walks of life. Through conversations with them, I can learn about the stories of this country and the individuals themselves. It’s a fascinating experience that gives me inspiration and new perspectives, enriching my understanding of the world.

Friends describe me as:

Happy birthday! I wish you happiness every day and success in your studies! I know I kept promising to visit Bristol but always ended up postponing it for various reasons. Please believe me when I say it wasn’t because I didn’t want to go—it’s just that I was genuinely busy during those times. I sincerely apologize for that. Honestly, I admit I’ve become a bit of a “promise-maker” without follow-through, haha. But I can confidently say that you’ve always been someone incredibly important to me, and the thought of losing you genuinely scares me.
To be honest, I’ve been feeling very anxious recently—about grades, applying to schools, and the future in general. What I shared with you on the subway that day truly reflected my worries. I’ve realized there’s a chance we might end up apart: I might be a year behind you academically, or I might enter the workforce earlier than you. All these thoughts stem from my fear of creating a distance between us. But your unwavering attitude that day made me cherish you even more and solidified my belief that we’ll always stand by each other’s side—friends, mentors, and lifelong companions.
Sometimes I feel immature, and I know my actions can occasionally be inappropriate. Yet, you’ve always been so considerate of my feelings and incredibly tolerant of my flaws. Thank you for everything, Zhezhe! I have so much I want to say to you, but for now, I’ll just wish you a wonderful birthday! Make lots of friends and find your special someone soon! 🎉❤️

Bro, I just got home and finished watching the video. Although we haven’t known each other for very long, I’ve learned so much from you. Meeting you has truly helped me realize what kind of person I want to become. Back in high school, I had no goals, no motivation to work hard, and often felt lost about what I wanted to do with my life. But after discussing the idea of upgrading to a bachelor’s degree with you, that goal has become deeply rooted in my heart. No matter how much effort it takes, I am determined to get into a better university.
To me, you’re like a guiding light, showing me the right path and opening my eyes to how big and beautiful the world outside can be. Right now, the only thing I can do is to focus on my studies during my second and third years and work hard to get into my dream university. Along the way, I’ll keep improving myself and strive to become a better person, .
I believe the purpose of hard work is to one day be able to afford everything I’ve ever wanted, to provide a better life for my family, and to become a better version of myself. I am confident I’ll make it, so wait for my good news, bro! I hope you stay safe and happy abroad and look forward to the day you return to teach me even more. Wishing you a very Happy Mid-Autumn Festival and Teacher’s Day! Don’t forget to eat some mooncakes while you’re there! 🎑✨

To Jelly:
First of all, I want to wish you a Happy New Year, Zhe! May you stay happy and achieve great success in your studies in the coming year! 🎉
I often find myself reminiscing about our days in Bristol—the evening sea breeze, the sound of waves crashing against the shore, and the joy of riding a scooter down tree-lined roads. Those moments gave me a sense of the serene and picturesque English countryside often described in books and movies. Although my time in the UK has also shown me the island’s chaotic and unpredictable side, rich in a unique sense of rugged freedom, I feel that beyond this chaos lies a deep cultural conservatism. You can see it in the urban planning and architecture—a commitment to tradition, heritage, and preservation. I really appreciate this style, and next time in Bristol, we must ride scooters again and go blow dandelions on the big green field!
Looking at your videos and photos, I’m always impressed by the detailed and interesting way you capture life. You seem to uncover the beauty of the world through different perspectives, and your captions often reflect profound thoughts about reality, sometimes even offering a warm and comforting strength. I genuinely hope you continue documenting life this way. It not only allows us to keep up with your latest updates but also lets us take a nostalgic journey into the past whenever we like—such a delight!
I’m amazed by your broad range of interests. Your intricate knowledge of various digital products, from their functionality to their underlying principles and internal structures, is truly impressive. Your deep understanding of different car models and performances, as well as your research into music, shows your curiosity and passion for learning. I hope you’ll keep pursuing what you love and continue to thrive on your path. Keep going strong in the new year, and may the Year of the Rabbit bring you good fortune and endless possibilities! 🐇✨

You are also welcome to leave a message for me.
